"When I first took my four year old son to see Tom I was totally despairing. Beckett had been suffering with eczema for a few months and there was no sign of the condition improving, in fact it was getting worse week by week (creams were not helping). I really was ready to embrace anything that might help my little boy return to his old healthy and happy self.
When he had his first session of acupuncture my son actually giggled throughout. I was totally amazed. The giggling continued at each time. Beckett told me it was like being tickled from the inside. I took my son Callum (3.5yrs) to see Tom for eczema and because he had been slow to recover from chickenpox. After his second visit for acupuncture, we retuned home and he let out a big sigh, announcing, "I feel much better mum!" He had about ten treatments and his skin is the best it has ever been, the eczema now almost unnoticeable.
In our house, Tom is now fondly referred to as "Pokies Tom" - for his acupuncture skills! He is a warm and professional practitioner, and vitally, has a spontaneous sense of humour which put Callum and me at our ease.
